Weight Loss Body Contouring Specialists

For many people, body sculpting after bariatric or post-weight loss body contouring isn’t just a second chance, but really a chance for a second life.

Body sculpting after weight loss surgery can help you improve your appearance, and create personal lifestyle changes and results not possible with diet and exercise alone. With body sculpting, the loose skin, skin folds, and tissues can be reshaped around the abdomen, waist, legs, arms, breasts, and neck.

In normal weight loss, the retraction of skin and tissues to their previous state is expected. However, in weight loss following surgery, the skin and tissues are permanently damaged. And, in the case of skin, the elastic fibers are broken, lending to the skin’s surface appearance.

While body sculpting is an option for many people, it should only be considered when your weight has stabilized after bariatric surgery. This period can range from 6 months to 2 years depending on your pre-operative weight. Only your doctor can determine a treatment plan that’s right for you.

Commonly Asked Body Contouring Questions

Whether a patient has lost significant weight through diet and exercise or has undergone bariatric surgery (Gastric Bypass Surgery, Adjustable Gastric Banding, Sleeve Gastrectomy, Biliopancreatic Diversion, etc) there are a broad range of body contouring procedures that can be used to address the areas of excess fat and/or skin. Some of these procedures include tummy tuck, thigh & body lift, liposuction, and arm lift.

The price for post-weight loss body contouring varies depending on several factors (the type of procedure(s), the number of procedure(s), the area(s) of the body being sculpted, etc). Therefore, we recommend that you come in for an initial consultation with one of our doctors. During your consultation, we will be able to gain a better understanding of your desired outcomes and then be able to give an exact quote on how long the procedure(s) will take & the cost of the procedure. It’s also important to note that not all health insurance policies cover post-weight loss procedures.
